SPARS AND RIGGING

Mast

· SECTION:  Hall 352C section.  Autoclave cured (250F, 85 PSI) pre preg carbon fiber with molded in taper.  Laminate designed for optimal panel stiffness so that checkstays are not required.  "Multi-option" laminate patching allows standard options to be added without additional reinforcement in the carbon tube.

· MASTHEAD:  Autoclave cured pre preg carbon fiber masthead crane with sheaves for two (2) main (1:1) and one (1) set of spinnaker stainless steel chafe cages for all sheaves.

· LIGHTS/ WIRING: Masthead tri color light and wiring; coax cable to masthead; steaming/ foredeck combo light and wiring; removable Dacron conduit to house all wiring.

· MAINSAIL TRACK:  Harken stack-track system.

· HOUND ASSEMBLY:  To include headstay lug with stainless steel bushing and one (1) set jib halyard sheaves.

· SPREADER SYSTEM:  Triple spreader configuration.  16° Sweep.  Tapered airfoil carbon spreaders with tips to accept ss spreader bend for S3 and Navtec L500 tip cups for S2 and S1.  Spreaders attached to hard coat anodized through mast spreader bars.  Machined seats in bars to accept D1, D2, D3 stemballs.

· GOOSENECKS:  Molded carbon goosenecks for boom and vang.  Machined aluminum toggles with stainless steel bushed pin holes.  Toggles are hard coat anodized.

· REEF PADEYES:  Three investment cast stainless steel padeyes located near boom gooseneck to fairlead reef lines to deck.

· CLIMBING STEP:  Four (4) climbing step (folding style) provided to allow easy access to mainsail headboard.

· FINISH:  Mast painted w/ Clear coat.

· WATER STOP:  High density foam type with plastic "stove pipe" for wiring to run through.

· MAST STEP: Standard type G-10 fiberglass step with slots for fore/ aft adjustment.

· Inner forestay box with internal sheave for staysail halyard, lug for IFS, Gibb backing plates for runner attachment, exit for halyard with messenger.

· Hydraulic mast jack (external) to include two hydraulic rams, one lifting bar operated by a dedicated hydraulic power pack.

· Molded in receptacle to accept customer supplied vertical masthead wand.

· BOOM: Hall Carbon #352C section Awlgripped clear coat inboard end to accept standard type toggle. Two (2) sheaves facing upwards (for single line reefing) and two (2) sheaves leading to deck. Outhaul system utilizing Navtec A250-LE-010 cylinder. Three (3) sheave configuration (one (1) outhaul and two (2) reefs). Outhaul track and car.

· Custom Hall carbon "penalty" spinnaker pole with up/down mast track system, topping lift, foreguy system and storage clips.

· One Hall carbon reaching strut with "Southern" end fittings.

· Hall carbon mast mounted instrument bracket (for 4 readouts).
