J-95 Project Update
The J/95 hull #1 is now out of the mold and the rest of the boat taking shape very nicely. The hull is drop-dead gorgeous. CCFC did a fabulous infusion job and the boat looks like she's ready to leap out of the cradle. Boats always look bigger at ground level but it's already clear that the J/95 cockpit will feel even roomier than that of the 33' J/100. The plans for hull #1 include an early March launch followed by an active demo schedule in Florida. Hull #2 and #3 are slated to complete on 4-5 week intervals following, and then production will settle in at one boat every three weeks. Please download the latest J/95 Specifications dated January 9, 2009. Most notable updates include the twin rudder system and bronze centerboard, detailed in the last J/95 update. Some option pricing is still being reviewed, and will be forwarded as soon as available. We are also planning a J/95 project and factory tour for dealers at the CCFC facility in early February, so that you can see boats in process and meet the key members of the J/95 team.
